HOURGLASS Concept
HOURGLASS ConceptRooted in bold geometry and spatial fluidity, the HOURGLASS Concept House explores how volume, light, and orientation can elevate everyday living. Surrounded by forest and designed with a strong dialogue between openness and privacy, the villa unfolds as a layered composition of angled planes and recessed volumes, carefully embedded in the terrain.
A refined palette of travertine, stainless steel, and microtopping brings subtle texture and natural tactility to the spatial experience. Custom lighting lines accentuate the clean contours and highlight the architectural rhythm throughout the residence. Inside, framed views and spatial overlaps generate a continuous conversation between the interior and its natural context.
The result is a residence that is both expressive and understated, composed and grounded, crafted for moments of retreat, reflection, and connection.
ARCHITECTURE IN RHYTHM
AND RESTRAINT

The Hourglass House is conceived as a sculptural composition rooted in balance and contrast. Its form is carved by shifting volumes, deep setbacks, and extended rooflines that frame both space and view. Designed in close dialogue with its natural surroundings, the house offers openness where it invites the landscape in, and privacy where retreat is essential.
The restrained material palette, travertine, stainless steel, microtopping and black-framed glazing, brings calm and continuity throughout. Sharp lines are softened by warm textures, while integrated lighting traces the contours of each space with subtle precision. The result is a home that feels monolithic yet light, grounded yet dynamic, an architectural expression of clarity and calm.
Used materials
essential
This project features a refined selection of materials that reinforce its sculptural elegance. The floors and walls are finished with microtopping, creating a seamless and tactile surface throughout. Travertine stone adds warmth and natural texture, forming a calm contrast with the sleek black microtopping used on the roof. Stainless steel elements (RVS) introduce a subtle industrial edge, while black-colored window frames complete the architectural expression with crisp, minimal lines.

Minimalism is not the lack of something, it's the perfect amount of everything.
