Wave House
This design takes its name from the motion of the water that is reflected in the composition of the house, where the depth and nuance in color, are in resemblance to the waves of the Spanish water.
The play of lines visible in the facades, characterized by the diagonal angles, creates a dynamic transition in levels. Whereby the overhangs reflect the grandness of the house.
From the Spanish water of Jan Sofat, a STATEment is made of three layers connected to form a concrete core. These three layers have their own function, with the ground and second floors being apartments. A separation takes place on the second floor, with one section joining another apartment and vice versa.
In the design, the black and concrete form a strong contrast. The pool forms in the opposite corners of the facade, this image is reinforced by the sitting pit, which in turn seems to float on itself in mirror image over the sea. The sitting pit is the connecting element in which a two-sided bar, Jacuzzi and lounge are situated.
A characteristic feature of the design is that all spaces flow from inside to outside, creating a great amount of dimension that also provides privacy. Also typical of this design are the 6 designed bedrooms and 2 swimming pools.

Used materials
essential
The use of black and white stucco combined with concrete tiles creates a bold yet refined material palette that defines the architectural character of the villa. These contrasting finishes work in harmony with the natural surroundings, offering depth and balance to the overall composition.
Large black-framed doors accentuate the openness of the design, drawing the outside in and reinforcing the strong visual connection with the landscape.

Movement is the essence of life, and architecture must reflect that rhythm.
